Pistyll Rhaeadr and Lake Vyrnwy

After a leisurely start we travelled to Pistyll Rhaeadr, a lovely waterfall reached through very dramatic scenery, we had a walk to view the falls and then drove onwards to Lake Vyrnwy.

We tried to do one of the trials shown on the map but I think we took a wrong turn somewhere so had to return back the same way, it was nevertheless a great walk.

We had a very late lunch and then Anna headed off home, it was lovely to see her and a great 24 hours chatting and catching up.  

Got to get back to working tomorrow and then perhaps another trip out on Friday, possibly back the the Lake or maybe Llangollen, which I a place I really like and it seems mad to come all this way and not go and visit but we'll see how the weather is.
