Hunting down the Asian hornets

A bush in our garden is infested with caterpillars of some sort, which attract Asian hornets that must have built a nest not too far away.

And so I have declared war against the hornets. In a way that appears totally wrong coming from someone who used to kill members of the European variety with a fly swatter many years ago, I have decided to use a powerful aerosol can of deadly horneticide.

But they are dead scary, or am I getting old?

The photo was taken to check that a recently sprayed hornet was indeed dead. Apparently it got away... for a while.
