Bao & Mantou

Sally steered us away from having dumplings for lunch (saying they were breakfast food) but she wasn't around to stop us come dinner-time! On display are whole prawn dumplings, pork & gravy buns and mushroom & pork buns. The mushroom is the bun!!

It's been a pretty nice day, with us visiting the Shanghai museum this morning (unplanned), then an art museum and a small gallery before a great visit to the Bird and Flower market, where the cricket enthusiasts were showing off their potential cricket-fighting champions, before heading into an upmarket tourist area which had the advantage of a Paulaner Haus. So weissbier was consumed!
