Wide Angle Wednesday - Wind

It's been a cold and miserable old day.
Had intended getting out into the garden, but decided against it.

It was nearly dark when I decided I would look for a blip.
Grabbed the fisheye and took myself into some nearby bush, where I found these waratah seed pods.
They'll open soon and the the winged seeds will be scattered by the wind.

The pods then will be differently beautiful.
Like so many plants, the waratah is beautiful in every stage.
