Renewable hope and Faith...

I like this perky, green leaf out behind the house I have been staying in for over a week now.  It was growing in the corner of 6'stockade fence, behind a fairly large tree that was giving great shade and cover for the birds, the mamas still bring food, and me.  It was cooler here and I was enjoying myself, finally able to get out.
     I had a total revision of my left knee done July 26, on a Tuesday morning.  What I had was a failed uni-knee replacement..  I was severely restricted in my walking to sometimes 1 mile in a day but more likely 675 to1250 steps in a day.  I was told I might only get 50% improvement of what I had.  I went for it....  50% of something was better than what I had which was nothing.
     Now, I have a solid knee under me.  The pain is all but gone when walking.  I have several weeks of recovery yet, but I have more, now than what I had the day I walked into the hospital.
   To me, this beautiful little green leaf reflects the amazing strength and power of nature.  It holds the love and caring of friends who are helping me, It cradles the wondeful skill of my surgeon who never gave up on me walking again, the viens of the leaf are the threads of life which steers us through life's traveils. If  we but only look, stop, and listen, everywhere's about is the beauty and love in the world.
