Day 215 of 366 - A look up the Lane!

Today's photo was taken this evening in the Cathedral Quarter of Coventry City Centre. The view is looking up Bayley Lane. This is one of the most Historic areas in Coventry, as well as one of my favourite places to photograph. There are numerous listed buildings in the lane. These include the Grade I listed Ruined (Old) Cathedral of St Michael which also includes the surviving Tower and Spire on the right side of the image. On the left side of the image you can see the Grade I listed St Mary's Guildhall in the upper left side. The building in the centre of the image near the top of the lane is a Grade II* listed Tudor cottage.

The photo was taken using the app VividHDR on my iPhone 6.

First I used the app Lightroom mobile to edit the photo. I straightened the picture and applied the Dynamic colour preset. I then changed the White Balance and applied a little noise reduction, along with boosting the Vibrance and saturation. Next I used the app Painteresque to add a custom version of the Painteresque 2 painterly preset. After this I used the app DistressedFX to add the Stirred overlay and the Bliss texture. Finally I used the app PhotoToaster to add the Recover Highlights preset, the Drama FX and a Medium dark vignette. I then added the Scratched texture and the Shadow II frame.
