Cheeky chappy
It's rained on and off for most of the day so it's been virtually impossible to get outside without being soaked. On top of that I haven't successfully photographed any flowers or insects so it has to be this juvenile robin that wasn't in the least bit bothered about being snapped.
The bird feeders have been busy non-stop today with coal, blue and great tits, one female chaffinch, one young greater spotted woodpecker and two nuthatches. Yesterday evening the "mouse" which I now think is a bank vole was also backwards and forwards in a feeding frenzy. No sign of the hedgehog though.
On a final note, five years ago today it was blisteringly hot and was the day we moved into our present house. How the time has flown and how we've enjoyed every minute of being here.
