Nurturing

The teenager is nurturing a dozen eggs with the anticipation of chicks in about 10 days time. The eggs were bought off EBay - it's amazing what you can find!
They are being kept toasty warm in an incubator and turned twice a day. Today he 'candled' them - well tried. Holding a lighted candle next to the egg should show if there is anything growing inside. Couldn't see a thing, so will just have to keep our fingers crossed.
