Heading for home

Another lovely morning, sunny and warm. The only place to be is out and in it! Took a route up from the pretty village of Boltby to reach the moor top. Very muddy and boggy after last night's heavy rain. (The new shoes looked well broken in at the end of it!) It's a good circular walk with an old abandoned barn on the moor edge and at the point where the walk begins the descent back to the village. These riders came by as we had lunch and provided a focal point against the lovely green fields further down where we were heading.
Back to The Dog & Gun tonight it being Friday. Missed last week so looking forward to re-aquainting myself with a G&T!
