In honour of our Olympic heroes

In honour of Sir Chris Hoy winning his 5 gold Olympic medal yesterday, the Royal Mail have painted this pillar box in Hanover Street, Edinburgh, gold.

I would just like to pay tribute to all our Olympic heroes, not just those who have won gold but those who have won silver and bronze too, as well as those who have perhaps not won a medal, but have participated nontheless and given their all ... they have all done us proud.

I feel so proud to be both Scottish & British!
