Falling down the Mountainside

1st August, Swiss National day, so I did my usual race from Aigle up to Leysin: le demi marathon des Alpes. 21k that would take me around 1h29 on the flat, took as expected 3 hours,  1730m of climb and 824 of descent according to my Garmin. 
The rain yesterday made things quite slippery in the forest on the way up and also going down, but great fun as always. Had time for a shower and a beer before getting the train down to Aigle. 
Then late lunch in the garden with L&L, a good day.
