On a Roll

There's a campaign in Liverpool at the moment to turn the rather under-used flyover just outside my office into an urban park/green space/performance area - similar in concept to the High Line in New York http://www.thehighline.org/about Needless to say, I think it's a brilliant idea!

To demonstrate how this might work in practice, the Council has allowed the Friends of the Flyover http://friendsoftheflyover.org.uk to take the road over on selected days for a varied programme of free activities. Thus it was that the theatre/dance/circus company Acrojou came to be performing their wonderful dance piece, 'Frantic', on said flyover this very afternoon https://vimeo.com/109732644
