The charm bracelet

Day 6, Saltburn to Runswick Bay. This sculpture is called The Charm Bracelet by Richard Farrington, and reflects the local cultural heritage. It was a delightful day's walk across the cliffs, although tough with nearly 14 miles and lots of climbing again. So nice to be out on the cliffs in near perfect weather, warm sun and a cooling breeze. We arrived in Staithes in time for lunch sat on the harbour wall then tea and cobble cake in a local cafe in the town. A great place for sitting and watching the world go by. There has been a profusion of wild flowers across the cliffs, framed with a wonderful sea blue back drop ; this is my idea of heaven.
