green, white, shiny blue

On this, the last day of my break,  I spent the first two hours writing a book review for the Herald  and then answered emails about constituency cases.  Then I went into the garden to do more clearing, cutting and strimming - tasks neglected in recent years.  

The sun was eventually very warm and late this afternoon I sat in the conservatory and noticed this colourful blue bottle buzzing about until it settled eventually on some flowers.
