Forest Trail

Recently I read a book “Lab Girl” by Hope Jahren who is a brilliant young independent researcher in geobiology with all kinds of scientific awards and one of Time magazine’s’ “100 most influential people" in 2005.    She can also write.   According to her if we ask  questions about plants, we are scientists and she’s going to tell us some stories, one scientist to another.   It’s an odd book I think about some eccentric people (including her) but I have to say I do look at  these trees and mosses differently now.
