Happy Birthday

We were invited for lunch at the Queens Head in Stoke Pound by Nicola today to celebrate Stewart's birthday.  Their friends Jackie and Charles were also there, the inset photo shows Stewart in 1978 when he was best man at their wedding.

Stewart is a very youthful septuagenarian, playing club tennis nearly every day and enjoys skiing holidays plus travelling Europe with Nicola in their motorhome. 

Now for something completely different: we had a visitor to our garden this evening.  The hedgehog featured in the extras came to hoover up the seeds dropped by the birds from the feeders.
