Hexhamshire

Time for another trip into Hexhamshire this morning to collect hay, couldn't resist stopping for a few minutes to explore this childhood haunt and gaze at the expansive view which as a small child of seven or ten I probably did not not fully appreciate but already knew was special. This shot looks North East from Lilswood towards Whitley Chapel and the Tyne Valley in the far distance.
