Fishing trip

Quite windy today but a friend appeared for coffee this morning and invited us both to join him on a fishing trip..what fun!!  We went out armed with mackerel lines and caught about 30 mackerel (the smallest were returned to the sea) and then we went to check his lobster pots and came home with this lovely lobster (and returned two smaller ones) and a sea urchin!  It was quite rough and the wind left me with a nicely glowing face!!  Lunch was freshly grilled mackerel straight from the sea and the rest that we kept were smoked.  Some of the fish will be used to bait his pots tomorrow.  Great fun, l always love a good day out on the water!
