Norma in Da House...

Well the Gin Palace to be more precise.  

First things first.  I made it upstairs again last night.  Woo hoo!  I am going to make that my weekly aim, upstairs Friday and if I can, Saturday too, then sleep the rest of the week downstairs.  That way I will hopefully prevent any more flare ups of hips and knees.

Anyway, back to Saturday.  

Came back downstairs in time to give Alan his lunch.  He was mega excited about his grandpa and Norma visiting.  Well Norma really.  Grandpa has slipped into second place since Norma arrived on the scene :-)  

 After they'd spent some time with Alan, we relocated to the Gin Palace for coffee, scones and pancakes (and later some gin and a brandy for Norma). Norma was 80 last week so we were having a belated celebration.

After Alan had his dinner he went off out with Jo and we took John and Norma out for dinner.  Had a lovely evening, full of laughter as it always is with these two.  

Back home for a night cap of Grand Marnier and more chat and laughter before bed.

Norma was delighted with her 80th Birthday portrait that I took when they last visited, but as predicted it was the hastily snapped shots with Alan that she really loved (see extras).
