ROGUE SUNFLOWER

A few weeks ago I noticed 2 little green leaves in this flower box in the garden. I wasn't sure what they were but thought I recognised the leaf. A few days later there were 2 more leaves and I realised then that it was a sunflower. I hadn't planted it in this box and so guess that a seed must have fallen from the bird table nearby, lain there over winter, germinated in spring and started to grow. It is now over 4 feet high and is developing a flower head. Watch this space!!
