New sign, ancient track

This sign is new - the previous one having been wiped out by a less than attentive tractor driver! I hadn't expected it to be replaced but pleasantly surprised that it was.

The now footpath follows the line of what was the main track back in the 1800's but was only a footpath by the 1940's. (as you can probably tell I love looking at old maps!)
