National Tree Day

The planting of trees throughout Australia by volunteers started 20 years ago with the result of 20 million trees being planted..

Acacia pycnantha, commonly known as the golden wattle, is a tree of the family Fabacea native to southeastern Australia, although it grows here in Western Australia almost everywhere, we see golden splashes everywhere at the moment.


A busy day packing our suitcases ready for our trip, Tuesday we will up and away flying to the old country staying with Family, its been a while since we there, exciting and scary at the same time, a long flight of 18 hours, a short stop in Dubai, then onto the last leg of the journey.
