Cooper's Hawk

This young hawk was crying most of the day in a tree near my house. It was quite upset, perhaps hungry and thinking Mom should come feed it.

My son and daughter in law are down at the beach this weekend too; it has been fun hanging out with them. It is probably the first time it was just the four of since their first child was born 18 years ago!!
