Another Restoration

The Craftsman plane on the right is my latest restoration project. I bought it a year ago and finally decided to start work on it yesterday.

I'm not sure that the quality justifies what I paid for it and all the work it took, but it does make pretty decent shavings now! 

The Stanley, made in Sheffield, England is my favorite. You might have seen it in earlier blips. I bought it and a few other tools, with money my Grandpa gave me for my 21st birthday. That was over 50 years ago. I've spent many happy hours with it in my hands.
