Mural Art.

One of my group of extraordinary women friends is a documentary film maker. She invited us to watch a trailer for her film, "A New Color", and give her some feedback on it. The film is about Edythe Boon, a 74 year old artist, and documents her community mural making process with elders and kids. As I looked around the group of my friends I thought, this is a pretty talented group--yet we're all humbled and inspired in equal measure by this woman who believes in herself so much that she is able to help others to believe in themselves.

My blip is of the murals created by Edy and seven other women in 1994 on the San Francisco Women's Building.
