Former Grandeur

Mr H and I went on Joe's memorial walk today. There were 25 in total including 2 under 18's ( Joe's beloved grandchildren) 3 dogs ( Reggie , Hamish and Bailey) and 4 blippers ( I think) . We started and finished at the Fisherman's and took in the Leeds Liverpool Canal, Dowley Gap and Hirst Wood Locks, Roberts Park, Saltaire  and Milnerfields - the site of the Salts family mansion. sadly Milnerfields is under threat of development..... 1000 houses and a innovation centre rather than a wonderful woodland and diary farm.
