Work trips to Phnom Penh now I don't live here are fun as I can see friends in the evening instead of just being chained to the laptop.

This was a beautiful catch up with the incredible Ruby: a wise and considerate friend who can rock a mini-skirt and who I appreciated having a one-to-one with. Conversations with fellow foreigners here are very levelling as there is much that draws you to others in a similar boat: all away from home in some way, all interested in understanding Cambodia and all with an adventurous spirit.
