Doglegs crew

Here's the whole doglegs team all poshed up for Zoe's wedding do. Big congratulations to her and Ant.

All quiet on the work front so I had the day off with Tobes and Eva. We had been invited to Helen's new house and I had promised to make a cake. I can bake beautiful cakes if they are just for us to eat at home. But if they are to take somewhere then they always go wrong. Attempt one stuck to the bottom of the tin. I don't know why. Didn't do anything different to normal. Attempt two hadn't cooled down enough when I had to put the buttercream in and by the time we got to Helen's it had collapsed. Rubbish.

Major garden envy at Helens. It's massive. The house will be fab eventually but hasn't been touched for the last 45 years!!

Swim lessons before rushing home for tea. Tobes improving every week. Eva has been taught the last two times by students but tonight had a proper teacher who was brilliant.

Mr EG too poorly to come to the wedding. Shame as a rare opportunity for us both to have a night out together as Toby and Eva spent the night camping nearby with Grandma and Grandad.
