The Royal Pavilion

A lovely day out today in Brighton with my friends M and D. I finally got to visit the Royal Pavilion and it exceeded my expectations, especially the amazing Banqueting Room.  Evidently it was one of the first large houses to use a separate interior designer and not just have the interior designed by the architect. Unfortunately no photography was allowed inside which is a shame as there's so many interesting things to photograph! We also did a walk along the pier and a bit of the seafront, plus visited the shops in The Lanes before catching the train home.
