View from the boat landing....

My brother came up yesterday evening (his cottage is only about 10 minutes from my sisters') & called to see if we could come over this morning and help him get his boat into the lake. His cottage sits up on a hill, so the boat and trailer can't be backed down to the edge of the water--he has to go around to the public boat landing to launch it. He needed one of us to hold the rope to keep the boat from drifting off while he backed it into the water & then to drive his car and trailer back to the cottage while he drove the boat across the lake. 
This was the old boathouse off to the side of the public pier--unused now, but still pretty, surrounded by all those lily pads! :)
