Shadows

The sun came out in the afternoon so we went for a walk in the Fairy Glen. It was slightly muddy under foot but drier than I thought it would be. It was quite busy with families out for a walk in the sunshine. I liked the shadows of this leaf on the unusual bark of a tree.
At the small pond we watched a family of wrens hopping through the plants and landing on the fence posts. A few butterflies but do nt think it was warm enough for many to appear. It soon clouded over with a few spots of rain.
Just been watching the dolphins through the telescope what an amazing display they were putting on, soo many breaches. I must get down there before the end of the session but it's really busy!
