Colony of Egrets

A walk around Saltram Park on a pleasant afternoon when fortunately it was high tide on the Plym estuary. This group of Egrets were on a tiny island within the nature reserve. Not far away another one was learning to be a goalkeeper, (see extra ) but needs a better understanding of what is required. The second extra shows a massive fungus on a tree which has fallen into the water. Each segment was about the size of a large round loaf. I have no idea what type it is?
