Bedale

After another great breakfast we had a last look around Bedale on this sunny Saturday morning.

The building in the centre with the cream facade, opposite the church, is Bedale Hall where we attended yesterday's wedding. A lovely event and they were so lucky with the weather. After a drizzly morning it was a warm (very) and sunny afternoon, perfect for the photos in the park behind the hall.

Half way through the proceedings there was a down pour but by the time we were going outside to the ice cream stall for our puddings it was dry again.

We were back home for lunch time, not that we needed any so that we could join in a walk to commemorate our friend Joe.There were 25 of us and I'm sure he was with us all in spirit, especially afterwards when we had refreshments in the Fisherman on the canal side. See Wilsden Walker  

Would love to chill now but we're off to a retirement BBQ! Hope the weather is kind again.
