Simonds, since 1898

One of Cairo's oldest coffee shops, now serving coffee in oh so modern cups. They also make nice pastries and chocolate.

They're currently renovating but so far the only difference I can see is a higher ceiling and better AC. Much needed as it's usually quite smoky.

Always nice to visit every few weeks.
