Windmore End-more climbing!

Well here I am again and my blip journal seems to be turning into my climbing log???

This is Windmore End a long escarpment of quarried limestone situated close to the Brough to Middleton in Teesdale road. This was my second time here as the first time I had to peer through the low lying cloud and climb in slippy wet conditions......not very appealing or any good for blips!

However tonight wow, what a contrast being South-West facing the sun shone on the righteous! I felt more confident and the conditions were excellent, I completed my first ever lead-climb (first person up puts the gear into the cracks) which by my standards is a little scary.
