Coral

Today's dolphin experience was definitely a highlight of the holiday so far! Becca completely fell in love with Coral and her mischievous baby, Reef. The trainers told us all about her and gave us loads of info about their conservation programme. All their dolphins were bred in captivity or rescued (and unable to be returned to the wild which is always their primary aim with a rescue)

I was lucky enough to swim with dolphins in the wild off the coast of NZ many years ago but apparently it is against federal law to interact with wild ones in the US now.

We had lots of photos to choose from but I settled for this one for my blip which we also got as a poster for Becca's room.
