Welcome to the world

Our 3 day old chick is getting bigger and bolder. Mum is teaching it how to feed and scratch. I shall transfer them to a bigger hutch next week where i shall put some perches for baby to climb.

It couldnt have rained any harder and i was soaked through to the skin while working in the chicken field. Hopefully the sun will come out this afternoon for our 4 mile walk with friends to the vineyard.
