Striation
One for middleman, hoping his canals are now fully navigable.
Gutted to miss the 'sunset' with my camera 10 mins earlier (cycling back from the pub!) when all them clouds were fantastically illuminated red from below. Also torn over the pan-left shot, which included loads of really nice lenticular clouds and them bizarre Monkey Puzzle trees on the top of Hergest Ridge. Perhaps one for 'extras' in the morning...
Incidentally, whenever I see poles/wires (which is very often) I'm always reminded of the Terry Zwigoff film Crumb. Robert Crumb, with all his street-scene cartoons, was never able to draw steet hardware free-hand from his imagination - had to refer to photos, or just go outside to check them wires. Brief part of the film, but it's just kinda stuck with me for the last 20 years....
