Still life in the old log yet....

Another day of mixed jobs. Went next door to help put wee brother's next lot of weaned cows out to a field, then carted 2 loads of blk calves out to another field.
After lunch, hitched the mower up and went and knocked down another 23 acre field of grass.
Would have been finished sooner, but had to go and investigate why neighbouring cottages had no water. Turns out the 360 in the sand quarry had dug up a pipe so all the pressure was going to the burst. They had eventually bent the pipe over to stop the leak, but it would have been nice to be told what was going on !
This gate post was having a second lease of life, supporting new growth from the top.
