Osteospermum

A tub of red/pinkish Osteospermum or Cape Daisy, come into their own on a sunny evening when they catch the low sunlight.  A native of South Africa they love a sunny position but survive our wetter summers in Scotland. Interspersed with lobelia they are the perfect filler for patio tubs. Other patio favourites for instant height and colour are pink hydrangea and the tree shrub lavatera or 'tree mallow'.
