Isle of Gigha

Today, Mrs Fitz and I took a ferry from the Mull of Kintyre over to the tiny picturesque island of Gigha. Like many of the islands off the west coast, it benefits from the Gulf Stream, and has quite a lush and verdant covering of woodland. It also has a very beautiful harbour, which is where I took this picture. It looks quite balmy, but I would not have ventured into the water without a wetsuit!
