Fordwich - Britain's smallest town

Today M & l pottered over to Fordwich just outside Canterbury in Kent. Fordwich is recognised as the smallest town in Britain and was mentioned in the Doomsday book (l must say at this stage l am not sure what constitutes a town, rather than say, a village or hamlet). We looked at England's smallest town hall (pictured) which was built in 1544 during the reign of King Henry Vlll and then wandered along to the George and Dragon pub where we spent the first night of our married life, now over 40 years ago.
We also pottered into the Church and l have attached an extra of the list of clerics who administered there since 1200s; the names are interesting in the fact the so many of them are obviously Norman.
