A good day's work
It's a constant battle to keep the field out of our garden.
Today I filled the brown bin, a large green sack, three trugs, and a large plant pot that was lying around. I bear wound from nettles, brambles, hawthorn, and a horse fly! We can now see all the acers in pots around the cascade.
One of our current problems is to decide what to do about the area around the top and to the right side of the cascade - I think we will probably lay weed suppressant and use some of the remaining flint cobbles.
One of the pleasures today was to stand on the bridge for a break, and to see lots of creatures - we have baby newts, damselflies, dragonflies (one actually sat on my foot for a rest).
