Holidays

Holidaying with a 2 year old and a 3 year old is hard work. Always being patient, persuasive and kind is not easy when they're argumentative, challenging and generally rage inducing. Plus the little one refuses to sleep screaming 'I can't' before she's even laid down. So this morning I was seriously wondering if we should go home. All this is without even considering the nightmare we have just thrown my sister and her family into by descending on them and their 2 bed flat.
But... (There always is one) we had such a lovely evening, playing on the swings, taking a picnic to the rocks, using fishing nets to catch seaweed. So much fun. We'll stay a bit longer I think.
Hoping for a better night but highly unlikely.
