A wedding Present

   Pat and Bryan – Wedding Day Gift.


Pat and Bryan in their mid 60s – got married on April 2nd 2016 in Teeside in the North East of England.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate – and after going to St Patrick’s Church – the celebrating continued till late evening.
Both Bryan and Pat had their own homes – so they made a request to their invited guests that they did not want any gifts for the start of their married life. But wanted gifts to be given to the work of Brother Michael Newman – currently working in Mzuzu Malawi, and for the building of a Well for poor people in and around Mzuzu in Malawi – this is through ‘Wells for Zoe’.
A wonderful time was had by all and a generous amount was gathered. To buy medical equipment for the New Psychiatric Hospital in Lilongwe for the Hospitaller Order of St John of God -  and for a Well – giving clear, clean, fresh water to a poor rural community near Mzuzu.
This Well was inaugurated on 25th July 2016 – with Br Michael and Br Wisdom present. Pictures were taken – and the local people rejoiced to receive this precious gift of water – thanking Pat and Bryan for thinking of them on their happy wedding day.
