Day 2: One....

....last Rolo. I enjoyed getting down to this one so I gave it too L. She was a bit disappointed with just one though!

Been to play with some friends today. The weather held off for a play in the park and a picnic and we were back to play in their massive play room before the rain came in. Total contrast to our last play day with friends, they all played beautifully and resolved and negotiated their differenced throughout the day. I was very proud and stress free which was lovely.

Drive back was a bit stressful though, the rain coming down so massively that it was hard to see and drive safely. Scary moment when the rear of the car seamed to aquaplane towards the curb. Went to the petrol station to discover I had a flat rear tyre which would account for the difficulty in driving! I had to pump it in the pouring rain. We got back safely thankfully as the tyre held. On closer inspection I've since found a nail in it, so a trip out for new a one tomorrow on the cards.

J had his sort-of-first-day in his new job today. They're not open for business yet but they were interviewing for staff. It went well and they think they've selected a good team. Every time he comes back from meetings, J is bursting with energy and enthusiasm. Its lovely to see.
