Big Skies

Driving home at 7 pm and the sky was full of big cloud formations. I wanted to photograph a large columnar cumulonimbus cloud in front of me. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into a good position and I was late for dinner which Mrs GC was cooking.

I therefore shot this combination of cumulonimbus and cirrus clouds looking northeast towards Cannock Chase.

Thank you for your kind comments yesterday. I have only taken about 10 photographs in the last 2 days, way down on my normal level. Only one more day to get through at work and then a week off. Hopefully, I'll get back into the swing of blipping.
