Not as well as she looks in the picture

Poor little Megan was running a temperature when this picture was taken, hence the feet in the bowl of cold water. It got worse later in the day so they took her to the hospital (they have no GPs in China). It was 3 a.m. by the time they left, Megan having been given a shot in the bum to bring her temperature down. It seems to have done the trick but she is crabby this morning due to the lack of sleep. This is Matthew at the same age. He ended up having his tonsils out at 7. I suspect the same may be in store for Megan.

Funny feeling sitting at the desk in the study with no laptop to be seen and no work commitments for another 5 weeks. I can only begin to imagine how strange retirement must feel initially. Sure I could get used to it though.
