Collected several kilos of veg from the garden today. Unfortunately most of them were courgette kilos... For a sense of scale, the small green one on the left is the normal size you'd buy in the shops. My family is not super-happy.

Garden sorting today - mowing a space for a large dog to play on. Also battling with the new printer. So much for the "it just worked right out of the box" reviews. Grumble.

Later, too much lamb for dinner, Top Gear and West Wing. Mr B was in discursive mood and I was first in bed, leaving him and the kids to a lively discussion of deficit policy. Hard to tell who was playing who, really.
