Agapanthus revisited

The same flower stem that has featured before.  Today, soon after some refreshing rain, a solitary bee bumbled past giving some added interest.  The first flowers are fading already, testament to the hot weather we have been 'enjoying.'

A funny old day but mostly a very good one.  Rain for the garden and allotment, we did a rain dance with the watering cans to make sure it would rain :-)  Amy went into the city with a friend.  Ruth is on her way home from Wales for a long weekend but currently delayed on the last leg, at Brandon, by signal failure.  Could be a late night but at least the house is tidier .... it needed to be to allow her wheelchair easy access!
